Élever launches Midnight in Monaco

Midnight in Monaco, the premiere collection from South Australian jewellery brand Élever Australia, launched online in September 2023. Inspired by European styling and the heightened silver-screen glamour of the sixties, seventies and eighties, the collection features elegant, high-drama pieces for a maximalist and bold style statement.

Following a limited pre-order period, the full collection was unveiled at an invitational industry launch party exhibit hosted at The Regal Theatre on August 27, 2023. This collection sits alongside the brand’s existing Prive range, which houses custom pieces produced in highly limited runs or on a one-off basis.

On the inspiration behind the Midnight in Monaco collection, Élever Australia Creative Director, Nathan James Crane, says: “Attempting to encapsulate the soul of a brand is no easy task, but our premiere collection does just that. Inspired by timeless European glamour, sultry evenings on the French Riviera and the endlessly captivating beauty of gemstones, this collection exudes the spirit of Élever.

“It is an invitation to elevate one’s everyday experience; putting artisan-crafted, ‘slow-fashioned’ pieces in the hands of those who seek versatile, trend-transcending statement jewellery.” - Nathan James Crane

Adelaide-based stylist and Élever Brand Ambassador, Lauren Dilena, says: “Selecting pieces from the Midnight in Monaco collection has certainly been a joyful experience. I love working with creatives and designers who share my appreciation of just how fun it can be to heighten everyday fashion far beyond the day-to-day.” Lauren says: “These are luxurious pieces to treasure, that have become versatile additions to my own styling arsenal.”

Élever Australia’s industry launch party for the Midnight in Monaco collection was catered by Indulgence Food Design, with wine partnership support from Hentley Farm. In addition to his role as Creative Director at Élever Australia, Nathan James Crane is currently SA/NT Chair at the Design Institute of Australia and holds a doctorate in Interior Architecture.
